"Priscilla" Original Still Life Lemon Painting by Colorado Artist Kelli Miller

I paint in an old boarding house. There are 14 artists in the building and we each have our own studio. Literally our own studio apartment. Only about 300 square feet. There are usually five or six artists in the building at one time. When I finish a painting I get so excited that I go around and show it to anyone that is there. Judy is a fellow painter and she is a hoot! When I took this down to show her she exclaimed "Priscilla!" That's how it got it's name!

6x6 oil priced at $100.00

"Chocolate Cupcake" By Kelli Miller

My sister's birthday was yesterday. So in honor of her I painted a festive little cupcake. This one is an odd size, it's 4x8 in. I had some canvas panel left over and didn't want it to go to waste!

"Turquoise Pumps" Kelli Miller SOLD

This might just be the last of the shoes for now...The clerks are giving me the stink eye every time I return a pair of shoes.

Couldn't post last night. Really bad thunderstorms started at around 8:30 last night and continued till around 3:00am. I have never in my life heard thunder like that! The dogs were freaking out, as well as the cat, basement flooded. Looks like a repeat tonight! Yikes!

"Slice of Summertime" by Kelli Miller

Funny thing, I was painting this "Slice of Summertime" while it was raining and only 66 degrees here in Colorado. That's what I love about living in Colorado...90 degrees one day and 66 the next!

"Oscar Night" By Kelli Miller

6x6 oil

I am having so much fun painting shoes! These are a pair that I wore to a fancy ball a few years ago. believe it our not they were comfortable... for about an hour! These were a real challenge. The shimmery gold was really hard to make. I'm happy with the outcome.

I've got exciting news! I've been asked to join the Original Daily Painters Blog!!! I can't believe it. Check it out at http://dailypainters.com you will be amazed at the talented artist there!
